Des Moines Sertoma February 2007 Schedule

February 2007 is shaping up to be another great month for the club:

February 6th - Bill Mogolon tells us about volunteer opportunities at Mitchellville

February 13th - Allan Murray speaks on the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge

February 20th - Sharon Chalup has been forced to cancel. Craig Randall has arranged for Bipin Menon to discuss India and Indian Culture. Thanks for the quick work, Craig!

February 21st - Drake Men's Basketball (Drake vs. Evansville)

Come and join us for great speakers and a spectacular view from the top of the tallest building in the state!

Des Moines Sertoma Club March 2007 schedule

March is a great month to visit the Des Moines Sertoma club. Send an email to Joe Kristan or Kevin Krause if you'd like to attend as our guest.

rb.gifRandy Bauer starts us off on March 6. Randy spent several years as the Iowa Budget Director before moving into the private sector with the consulting firm Public Financial Management. He is also a member of the board of directors for the U.S. Chess Federation. Whether you want to know about our state's finances or the state of the royal game, this will be a great place to be.

nc1.jpgOur March 13 meeting will feature Nancy Clark from the Des Moines Register. Nancy is known for her sports writing and commentary.

rushnigut.jpgOn March 20 local attorney Rush Nigut visits to talk about his business practice and how his website "Rush on Business" fits in with his practice.

Our March evening meeting will be on the 27th at 6:00 pm at the China One International Buffet on Ingersoll.
